Gustav Danielsson is a Swedish cinematographer and director based in Stockholm, working internationally across film and television. Originally trained in architecture, he transitioned into filmmaking through an interest in visual storytelling and image-making.

 

He photographed Roy Andersson’s acclaimed feature You, the Living, and his recent work includes HBO’s A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms as well as several episodes of Black Mirror, including the Emmy-winning San Junipero. His work often combines naturalistic lighting with subjective camerawork.
